They’re all over the radio, I see them on TV, our clients ask about them. Can they really help someone who is having financial difficulties? Let’s see, they claim they can stop the calls, they claim they can help with a garnishment and they claim they can settle your debts for far less than what you owe. Hey, maybe some of this could be true, but I have yet to see any of it happen. 
Here’s the best part, they ask for a large fee up front to do all of these services and then half of the time, don’t do any of the services. Instead, they refer you to a licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy firm, like Hoyes, Michalos who can do all of the above and more. But wait, you’ve already paid them upwards of $1,500.00, and for what??? Nothing but a simple referral. Nothing that you couldn’t have done on your own for free.
